Breakfast from the bakery. Rye bread, wholemeal bread, croissant, and pain au chocolat. Nothing better than freshly baked bread with local Cornish butter slathered on top 🍞🥐😀
Local Cornish dressed crab 🦀 on St Ives Bakery rye bread with lashings of Cornish butter. A squeeze of lemon and some coriander leaves. Simple and fantastic 😀
More Cornish treats. Saffron scones from the amazing traditional S H Ferrell & Son. Its proper original old school. Unfortunately no cream or jam, just butter. Still crumbly and delicious 😀
I’m on holiday with my family in Saint Ives in Cornwall. It’s so beautiful and the weather has been amazing.
Most days have been spent on the beach with the kids loving the sand and sea.
Of course while we’re here we couldn’t not have a Cornish pasty. I went for a beef and stilton pasty and my wife had the vegetable pasty. Both of them excellent. Super tasty and flakey pastry.
I can definitely recommend The Cornish Bakery 😀 🥐 🥖 🍞
Happy #nationalburgerday 🍔🍔🍔
Had a fantastic chili burger fun Homemade Burger Co.
Poached eggs, asparagus and avocado on German rye bread toast. Fantastic breakfast. Really filing for my busy day ahead 🍳🥑🍞😀
It’s pizza night. Dough mixed, rested and risen, and finally baked into delicious hot pizzas 😀🍕
Tomatoess from my greenhouse. So exciting and so so sweet 😀🍅
Sweet potato fries and parmesan on the side. Great with any meal. Finger licking good 🍠🍟
While we stayed at my mum’s we had a fantastic take away from Bosco Pizzeria (Clifton, North Bristol). It was delicious. We had pesto, pine nuts and spinach; artichoke, olive and parmesan; mushroom and ricotta; and hot n’duja sausage. I’ve eaten in the restaurant on other occasions and it’s great. Really friendly and warm atmosphere. The menu is all delicious 😀🍕
