Totally delicious light, crispy and buttery croissants ๐ฅ๐ OMG, I could eat them all day long. I’ve seen canelรฉ online loads of time but had never tried them and today I spotted them at the market. They’re brilliant! Sugary, caramely, and slightly chewy exterior – which also slightly reminded me of the top of a crรจme brรปlรฉe. The inside has slight moist custardy vanillay cakey flavour and texture. Amazing!

Veggie fajitas

I could eat pizza everyday
Another brilliant take away lunch from the Pasta Station. ๐ with salumi. It’s my new favourite place for homemade pizza and pasta. The owner is so warm and friendly
Barnsley Chops ๐
My brilliant dad @chrisanncarter bought me a giant box of meat for Christmas. So much in fact I had to freeze some. I had totally forgotten about them and I found some Barnsley chops at the back of the freezer.
I had never heard or tried them before. They’re a bit like lamb T-bone steaks.
I covered them in salt and pepper and put my griddle pan on high. I held them in my tongs and fried the fatty edge for a few minutes to render it down and it get it nice and crispy. Then about 5 mins on each side. I let the steaks rest.
I saw this @deliciousmag recipe for roasted sliced potatoes with rosemary and salt.
The Barnsley chops and potatoes were amazing. It was like a thick juicy lamb chop, and with the salty crispsy potatoes it was delicious
Simple Food: Omelette ๐ณ๐ง
Often simple is best. Cheese omelette cooked in butter with salt and pepper. That’s it, but totally delicious. Cup of tea too ๐ณ ๐ง โ ๐
My pizza makes me happy ๐๐๐
The old favourite ๐ – I just can’t beat it. Especially after a long hard week.
I love being in the kitchen constructing the pizza, then watching it bake, and then of course eating it.
This evening’s was mozzarella, blue cheese, red pepper, egg and chili. Fan-bloody-tastic ๐๐๐
Pasta Station ๐ฎ๐น๐๐
I popped into the Pasta Station for the first time and it was like stepping into Italy.
It’s a deli with amazing looking meats, salamis, cheeses and cannolis. But they also have a glass fridge counter full of fresh homemade pasta. You can eat different types of pastas with sauces, and some pizzas.
I had a delicious focaccia style pizza with a fantastic crispy crumbly onion and cheese topping, plus extra cheese and prosciutto in the middle. Deeelicious!
I’ll be going back and next time I’m trying the homemade pasta ๐ฎ๐น ๐ ๐ ๐
